Lunsford appeals to supporters, aims to 'turn McConnell's face red'

With the first quarter coming to an end, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Bruce Lunsford is out with a colorful fundraising appeal to supporters Friday.

“Along the campaign trail, I’ve witnessed great desire for change and overwhelming enthusiasm for bringing Mitch McConnell back to Kentucky for good. Folks are tired of the way McConnell does business in Washington. With your support, we can turn Kentucky’s vote BLUE and McConnell’s face RED,” Lunsford says in an email.

“By making a financial contribution today, you can help us reach our goal of raising another $30,000 online by midnight Monday – the end of this reporting quarter – and turn McConnell’s face RED.”
