U.S. Rep. John YarmuthConservative advocacy group Freedom's Watch is targeting U.S. Rep John Yarmuth (D-Louisville) with another round of robocalls, targeting the freshman incumbent on gas prices yet again.
"In the short time he’s been in Congress, John Yarmuth opposed efforts to increase domestic production 18 times," say the pre-recorded calls. "That's right, John Yarmuth sided with Nancy Pelosi and liberals in Congress instead of us 18 times."
This is the third burst of calls against Yarmuth, who is facing former U.S. Rep Anne Northup (R-Louisville) in Kentucky's 3rd Congressional District in a rematch of the 2006 election, when Yarmuth unseated Northup.
Much of the debate in the race thus far has focused on gas prices, with Northup calling for increasing oil supply by allowing domestic exploration for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the outer continental shelf.

The full script of the call is as follows:

In the short time he's been in Congress, John Yarmuth opposed efforts to increase domestic production 18 times
That's right, John Yarmuth sided with Nancy Pelosi and liberals in Congress instead of us 18 times.
Call John Yarmuth at 502-582-5129
Tell him to stop standing between the American people and American oil.
Paid for by Freedom's Watch, 202-379-3742
Yarmuth was the only Kentucky Democrat targeted in this round of robocalls. State Senator David Boswell (D-Owensboro) has previously been hit by Freedom's Watch with calls and press releases as he seeks Kentucky's open 2nd Congressional District seat, but he was left out of the latest buy.
The Kentucky delegation to the RNC scored big this week, and if Anne Northup's absence is any indication, U.S. Rep. John ... >
