The campaign of Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) confirmed this morning that the Presidential candidate will not be in the state for the Kentucky Democratic Party's Friday fundraiser.
A spokesperson for the campaign said Obama will be in Oregon on Friday and Saturday.
Still, Kentuckians can still expect a visit from Obama in the forthcoming weeks.
"He will definitely be in the state before May 20," said Clark Stevens, the Kentucky campaign's spokesman.
The attendance of Senator Hillary Clinton at the Friday fundraiser was confirmed on April 29.
The event will be held at 7pm at the Kentucky International
Clinton is currently polling 34 points ahead of Obama in the state.
