Fischer gets support of Louisville Defender
By Trey PollardU.S. Senate candidate Greg Fischer (D-Louisville) has collected the endorsement of the weekly Louisville Defender newspaper.
"I'm humbled and honored by the Defender's endorsement," Fischer said. "I'm running this campaign on behalf or working people in Kentucky. It's time government worked for them."
The Defender is the foremost newspaper in Kentucky focusing. on African-American issues. It was founded in 1933.
