Five weekend stops in Kentucky for Hillary Clinton

U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) will be hitting Kentucky this weekend for a two-day tour in the state she is expected to take handily in the May 20 Democratic presidential primary.

Clinton's first stop will be in Loretto tomorrow, when the senator is scheduled to tour the Maker's Mark bourbon distillery and attend a community picnic. Her visit to Loretto will begin at 1:30pm.

The former first lady will then headline a Get-Out-the-vote rally in Frankfort at 4:30pm. That event will be held at the Bell Gymnasium on the campus of Kentucky State University.

Clinton will end Saturday in northern Kentucky by attending Maifest in Covington at 8:15pm. Maifest is an arts, crafts, and culinary fair held in the central part of the city.

The campaign trail takes Clinton to Bowling Green and Mayfield on Sunday for two more GOTV rallies.

In Bowling Green, the rally will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Western Kentucky University's South Lawn -- located at 1906 College Heights Blvd.

In Mayfield, Clinton's campaign will set up shop at the Mayfield-Graves City Chamber, at 201 East College St. The rally there begins at 4:15 p.m.

Hillary Clinton at Kentucky State University(H.B.C.U.)

Hillary Clinton held her rally at Kentucky State University which is one of two historically black colleges in the state. The attendance was very poor due to graduation being last weekend on May 10. The only people that are currently on Kentucky State's campus are international students, faculty and police. I think that looks really bad for her campaign why hold a rally a week after graduation at a historically black instituiton when students have gone home for the summer? I think is was set up to make her look better in the african american community but how can it when the students have left the campus for summer break.
